Currently, NCHE is in a process of registering five private HEIs, namely, International University of Management (IUM), Institute of Open Learning (IOL), Head start Montessori, Institute of Bankers (IoB) and Triumphant College.
Institutional Financial documents are amongst the documents to be considered during the registration process. A local financial expert has been secured to analyse and interpret the financial and other related documents.

- Ceremony to hand over certificates to registered by private HEIs, 23 September 2014, Chairperson and Secretariat.
